Story
I started as a Software Engineer during undergrad, but found myself more drawn to the why behind my code than the code itself. That curiosity led me to UX design, and I've been working to bridge the two ever since.
I think of myself as a full-stack designer: I own projects from requirements through research, wireframes, and stakeholder reviews to production-ready specs. I've also brought AI into my design process — for synthesis, rapid iteration, and content structuring. This site? Built with Claude Code.
Philosophy
Systematic, clear, and grounded. Designing compliance systems for 1.1M students across complex, multi-user workflows sharpened my instinct into something more specific: design that's systematic in how it connects, clear in how it communicates, and grounded in what can actually be built and maintained.

"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved."
— Ansel Adams
The same is true for design. Everything I build draws on everything I've experienced — the code I've written, the systems I've mapped, the places I've been, and the people I've designed for.
