Privacy Policy
This policy explains how my portfolio website and personal Google integration handle information. The Google integration is a private productivity tool used only by me. It is not offered to portfolio visitors or the public.

Who operates these services
I, Huchong Jin, operate huchongjin.com and the personal Google integration described below. Questions about this policy can be sent to jhuchong@gmail.com.
Portfolio website data
The public portfolio does not create visitor accounts or ask visitors to authorize access to their Google Accounts.
The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page usage. Google Analytics may process information such as device and browser details, approximate location, referring pages, visited pages, and cookie or similar identifiers. Google handles this information under its own privacy terms.
Google user data accessed by my personal integration
The integration requests read-only access and uses the minimum data needed for a task I initiate:
- Google Account information: basic identity details, such as my email address and profile information, to identify the account I authorized.
- Gmail: message metadata, message content, labels, and settings needed to search and classify relevant email for personal briefings.
- Google Calendar: calendar and event information needed to review my schedule.
- Google Drive: file names and metadata needed to find my own files when I request a lookup.
The integration does not send email, change calendar events, or edit Drive files through these read-only permissions.
How I use Google user data
I use the accessed data to assemble personal briefings, identify messages that may require my attention, review calendar commitments, and locate files. I do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or building profiles about other people.
My use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Processing, storage, and retention
OAuth credentials are stored in encrypted local configuration on my computer. Raw Gmail responses used during a briefing are temporary working files and are deleted after the run when the workflow completes normally.
Selected facts and derived summaries may remain in private local records so I can track my own tasks and decisions. I retain those records until they are no longer useful or I delete them.
During an AI-assisted workflow, the minimum information needed for the requested task may be processed by an AI service provider I select, such as OpenAI, or by Google services used to provide a connector. These providers process the information to perform the requested function. I do not permit its use for personalized advertising.
Sharing and disclosure
I do not sell Google user data. I do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. Information is disclosed only to service providers needed to run a requested workflow, when required by law, or when necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.
Security
I use encrypted credential storage, local access controls, read-only OAuth scopes, and limited retention of raw responses. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Access and deletion
I can revoke the integration's Google Account access at any time from the Google Account connections page. I can also delete local credentials, temporary files, and retained summaries. Privacy questions or deletion requests can be sent to jhuchong@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy when the website, integration, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
