Problem

Behavior change through technology was difficult

The main problem with behavior change through technology includes a lot of persuasions that hold the users at the center of their own health responsibility. There are numerous health apps that are working in this design space to retain their users and support behavior changes in their health practices. One such we targeted in this project is Fitbit

How might we motivate people to manage their anxiety with Fitbit? 

Solution

4-step anxiety help based on the Personal Informatics Model: Prepare, Track, Reflect, and Act.

Prepare

Get everyone on the same page

  • Offer an easy start through onboarding
  • Take a quick test to evaluate anxiety levels

Track

Smart reminders to log feelings

  • Remind people to record their anxiety and triggers
  • Sync calendar to enable smart notification

Reflect

Anxiety patterns at a glance

  • Visualize anxiety levels and patterns
  • Provide insights through multiple data views

Act

Connect with other Fitbit features

  • Suggest activities to relieve anxiety
  • See achievements through weekly reports
